Audition Schedule
Harmonia Academy holds auditions twice a year: in the spring (April/May) and in the autumn (September/October). Specific dates are announced well in advance on our website and social media channels. Please review the table below for the upcoming audition dates:

Audition Requirements
All applicants are required to meet the following requirements to be eligible for an audition:

Completed online application form (see below).

Submission of a high-quality video recording of a recent performance (details below).

Payment of the non-refundable application fee of €50.
-
Proof of previous musical education or experience (transcripts, certificates, etc.).
-
Two letters of recommendation from music teachers or mentors.
Video Recording Guidelines
The video recording should showcase your best performance abilities and adhere to the following guidelines:

The recording must be recent (within the last six months).
-
The video quality should be high-definition (720p or higher).
-
The audio quality should be clear and free of distortion.
-
The recording should be unedited, showing a continuous performance.
-
The repertoire should match the audition requirements for your chosen department (see below).
Department-Specific Requirements
In addition to the general requirements, each department has specific repertoire requirements:

Classical Piano:
-

A Bach prelude and fugue from the Well-Tempered Clavier.
-
A movement from a classical sonata (Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven).
-
A Romantic piece of your choice.
-
A 20th or 21st-century piece of your choice.
-
Vocal Performance (Opera):
-
-
Five arias in contrasting styles and languages (Italian, German, French, English).
-
At least one aria must be from the standard operatic repertoire.

Jazz Instruments:

Three jazz standards in contrasting tempos and keys.
-
Demonstrate improvisation skills over common chord changes.
-
Sight-reading ability will be assessed.

Orchestral Instruments:

Excerpts from standard orchestral repertoire (consult with the department for specific requirements).

Scales and arpeggios in all major and minor keys.

Sight-reading ability will be assessed.
